AI browsing memory

You did the research.
Let your AI use it.

Cortice gathers the pages you read back into one thread, so you can ask about them later, in its own chat or in the AI you already use.

Gather

Browse as you always do.
Cortice keeps the thread.

No bookmarks, no copy and paste. Cortice reads each page the way you saw it and keeps what's worth keeping.

The page as you saw it

Text that loaded late, what's in form fields, image descriptions, even text that has since left the page.

PDFs, long ones too

Papers and reports opened in your browser are read page by page.

Local files, if you want

Off until you switch it on, and only on the device where you do.

Your history on a timeline

Every visit with its site, pages, time spent and keywords, ready to reopen or bring into a chat.

Every page, word for word

Open the full text of anything you read, links included, long after the tab is closed.

One account, every browser

Link each browser and your history lives in one place that follows you.

Make sense

Not just kept.
Read and understood.

Every page gets a short summary, keywords, key facts and quotes. A quote is only kept if it really appears on the page.

Search by meaning

Find the article by the idea, even when the words are gone. Exact phrases work too.

Threads and concepts

Related pages gather into threads, and the ideas running through them into a map.

Tuned to you

Tell Cortice what you care about, such as scientific sourcing or UX inspiration, and summaries follow.

A familiar chat, ready at sign-up

Nothing to connect. It searches your history, reads whole pages and cites what it used.

  • Links are checked. It won't hand you an address it can't back up.
  • Chats are saved, and any session can be pulled into one.
  • Knows your day. “Yesterday afternoon” means yours.

The runtime version had to match what the platform shipped, and that took most of the week, according to the migration notes you read on Wednesday.

Your own AI, over MCP

Connect an AI client that supports MCP and it can search and read what you've gathered.

  • Same tools as the built-in assistant.
  • Connect during setup.
  • Stop re-pasting sources into every chat.

Questions

Asked and
answered.

Does Cortice record everything I browse?+

No. Recording is off until you turn it on, and Cortice asks before it records a new site. Approve or block sites at any time, and some places are never recorded at all.

What does it keep from a page?+

The page's text as you saw it, its title and address, and for most pages a short summary with keywords, key facts and quotes. Passwords and card numbers are masked in your browser before anything is sent.

Where is my data stored, and who can see it?+

In the cloud on AWS, encrypted in transit and at rest and kept separate for every account, which is how your history follows you across browsers and devices. We don't sell or share it.

Can I use it with the AI I already have?+

Yes, with any AI client that supports MCP, the Model Context Protocol. Supported clients and setup steps will be confirmed for early access. Your AI provider's own charges may still apply.

What happens when I reach my limit?+

The meter warns you as you get close. At the limit, new AI work pauses until your weekly reset. There are no surprise overage charges.

Which browsers does it work on?+

Cortice is a Chrome extension with a web app you can open anywhere.

Is it available now?+
